ABOUT THE MUSEUM

A gallery of innovation, a tribute to heritage

Located on the lower level of the Kokomo Conference Center, the Kokomo Automotive Museum is more than a collection of cars — it’s a celebration of the city’s deep roots in automotive history.

Designed to feel more like an art gallery than a traditional museum, this curated space honors the legacy of innovators like Elwood Haynes and the Apperson brothers, whose pioneering work helped launch America’s automotive industry right here in Kokomo.

Through thoughtfully displayed vehicles, the museum will capture the spirit of invention and craftsmanship that continues to define this community. The museum will shine a spotlight on locally manufactured models and the people who built them.
